The Rivière-des-Prairies Generating Station is part of the oldest hydroelectric facilities that are still in function in Quebec. The generating station, which was built between 1928 and 1930, presents an imposing turbine pits and spillway as well as an interpretation centre. This centre allows visitors to learn more about the production of hydroelectricity. In spring, take advantage of the boardwalk and join fishers to try to catch tasty shad.
