Flowers and Cosmos
The Sainte-Dorothée district is in the western part of the Laval region and is lined with the Rivière des Prairies. In this neighbourhood, tourists can visit the only aerospace centre in Canada: the Cosmodôme. Sainte-Dorothée is also a flowery district, especially with its large production of greenhouse annual flowers. Some floral arrangings can be admired in the Vieux-Sainte-Dorothée or at the Paradis des Orchidées. You can also visit the only vineyard in Quebec that has the right to use the "Château" appellation for its wines: the Château Taillefer Lafon.
