Centre d’interprétation de l’eau offers you an amazing exhibition covering every angle of drinking water and its impressive journey in our environment. Ten thematic modules make you discover drinking water-related issues through games, collection items as well as general and scientific information.
The exhibition presents several elements of “Chemin de l’eau : de la rivière à la rivière” in a very pertinent way. The simultaneous presence of many language levels allows young and not-so-young, neophytes or connoisseurs, to enjoy their visit to the fullest. Furthermore, since some of the windows offer a direct view on the inside of the Sainte-Rose drinking water station, visitors will have the chance to witness the production of drinking water in real time. Visitors are invited to spend pleasant moments within a both calm and stimulating setting. As for school groups, they are invited to a rewarding activity at Professor Hydraulix’s laboratory.
Centre d’interprétation de l’eau is a major asset in Laval tourism supply as well as a one-of-a-kind attraction in Quebec, and even Canada, in the scientific culture sector. It presents itself as a keeper of the blue gold: it encourages the protection and preservation of water by increasing the public awareness to the water issues of the 21st century. During a visit at the C.I.EAU, you will discover all the secrets of this precious resource and be swimming in a sea of information. A visit will fulfil your expectations!
